OBIT MOORE, JULIAN R.

MOORE, Julian R., 64, of Roanoke, passed away Monday, November 8, 1993. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. John D. Moore and Mrs. Frankie M. Moore. He is survived by his wife, Rolanda Sydnor Moore; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Wilanna Kalkhof (Leslie), Whitefish Bay, Wis., Ms. Joni Kaye Moore, Harlan, Ky., Mrs. Connie M. Macklin (Leonard), Richmond, Va.; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Dr. Irene Moore Wright and Dr. T. Victor Wright, St. Louis, Mo., Mrs. Louise Moore Worthington, Harlan, Ky., Mrs. Judelle Moore Shaw and Mr. Larry Shaw, Memphis, Tenn., Mrs. Jean Moore Collins and Dr. Robert Collins, Atlanta, Ga.; two brothers-in-law and wives, Mr. Lewis A. Sydnor Jr. and Mrs. Elaine Sydnor, Roanoke, Va., Mr. Carl W. Sydnor and Mrs. Leon Sydnor, Washington, D.C.; five grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews. There will be a visitation at 11 a.m. and a memorial service at 12 p.m. on Thursday, November 11, at St. Paul United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Charles Roberts officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, in memory of Julian R. Moore. Arrangements by Fizer Funeral Home.
