OBIT REED, JOHN GRAHAM JR.

REED, John Graham Jr., 79, of Roanoke, died Wednesday, November 10, 1993. He was a Navy veteran, serving in the South Pacific during World War II and was retired from the Roanoke Times & World-News Corporation, working in the advertising department. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Verell Reed; son and daughter-in-law, John Eric and Lois Reed, Fountain Hills, Ariz.; granddaughter, Erica Ann Reed, Tampa, Fla.; sister and brother-in-law, Nellie and James Hall; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 12 noon Friday at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel by Dr. Harry Y. Gamble. Burial will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel. Arrangements by Lotz Roanoke Chapel.
