OBIT SHIVELY, ETHEL LEE
SHIVELY, Ethel Lee, 92, of Rt. 3, Moneta, died Wednesday, November 10,
1993. She was the widow of George M. Shively. Surviving are four daughters,
Eula C. Cooper of Ferrum, Edith Pagans, Pauline Lipes and Claudine Hall, all
of Moneta; two sons, McKinley U. Shively of Rocky Mount and Hillard C. Shively
of Wirtz; one sister, Ida B. Gillispie of Ferrum, seventeen grandchildren; and
nineteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m.
Friday from Lynch Chapel, with Rev. Kenneth Wilson and Rev. Maynard Plaster
officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Ivy Church Cemetery. Friends may
call at Lynch Funeral Home, Rocky Mount, after 2 p.m. Thursday, where the
family will be from 7 to 9 p.m.
