OBIT RHUDY, OTEY DELTON

RHUDY, Otey Delton, 95, of Fries, died Tuesday, November 9, 1993 in the Blue Ridge Highlands Nursing Home, Galax. Mr. Rhudy is survived by his daughters, Kathleen E. Smith, Eileen Stewart, both of Abileen, Texas, Ann R. Comeaux, Belemon, N.M., Anita Bacus, Metyville, Tenn.; son, Delton Rhudy, Wytheville; sister, Enid Spraker, Fries; 16 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at Fries Baptist Church Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Phil Gass and the Rev. Bill Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Olivet United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home, Galax.
