James B. Evans has been elected president of the board of directors of the Virginia Museum of Transportation Inc.

Lawrence, vice president of finance and development; Donald C. Reid, vice president of marketing; Eugene M. Roanoke festival board elects new officers

Sandra Tibbs-Robinson of Virginia First Savings Bank recently was elected president of Roanoke's Festival in the Park board of directors for 1993-94.

Other officers elected were: Mark Loftis of Woods, Rogers, and Hazelgrove, president-elect; Cathy Caddy, The Bottom Line, secretary; and Jim Hinkle, Blue Cross Blue Shield, treasurer.

Wendi Schultz is beginning her ninth year as executive director.
