OBIT SIMPSON, RUSSELL THOMAS
SIMPSON, Russell Thomas, 83, of Radford, passed away Wednesday, November
10, 1993. He was a member of Carter Street United Methodist Church, and a
retired molder with Lynchburg Foundry with 44 years service. Survivors include
three sons, Russell T. Simpson Jr., Bobby C. Simpson, and Richard D. Simpson,
all of Radford; one daughter, Mrs. Cecil (Mary Ann) Phillips, Radford; one
brother, William B. Simpson, Radford, two sisters, Ruth A. Simpson, Radford,
and Malgia E. Hagi, Elizabethon, Tenn.; 12 grandchildren; and 5
great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 13,
1993, 2 p.m. at the Seaver-Sanders & Mullins Funeral Home, Radford, with the
Rev. Michael Bond officiating. Interment will follow in West View Cemetery in
Radford. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the
Sever-Sanders & Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
