OBIT WILLIAMS, LOUISE ALLEN
WILLIAMS, Louise Allen, 91, of Goshen, Va., died Thursday, November 11,
1993, at the King's Daughters Hospital, Staunton. Mrs. Williams was born in
Goshen, on July 11, 1902, a daughter of the late John Thomas Allen Sr. and Eva
Bouchelle Swink Allen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Felix Seymour
Williams Jr., and her son, Felix Seymour Williams III, both formerly of
Moorefield, W.Va. Mrs. Williams was a member of the Goshen United Methodist
Church, a member of the Virginia Frontier Chapter of the D.A.R., a member of
the Association for the Preservation of Virginia Antiquities, member of the
National Trust for Historic Preservation. She is survived by a daughter,
Elizabeth S. Houston Williams of Goshen. Funeral services will be conducted
Saturday, November 13, 1993, at 2 p.m. at the Harrison Funeral Chapel with
Rev. Douglas Desper and Rev. James Unruh officiating. Burial will follow with
her husband and son in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA. The family
suggests memorial contributions be made to the Association for the
Preservation of Virginia Antiquities, 2300 E. Gray Street, Richmond, VA. The
family will receive friends Friday night from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Harrison
Funeral Home, Lexington.
