OBIT RILEY, JANET BELL

RILEY, Janet Bell, 68, of Roanoke, died Wednesday, November 10, 1993. Janet was a long time member of Raleigh Court Presbyterian Church, was a member of the Sanctuary Choir for 50 years, and had served on the Board of Deacons. She was a graduate of the Medical College of Virginia, was a retired assistant vice-president from Dominion Trust Company, and served as a volunteer at Lewis-Gale Hospital. Surviving are her husband, Clyde E. ("Pat") Riley; her loving daughter, Tracy Riley, Roanoke; two nephews, R. Vincent Howard, Athens, Ga., Kent J. Howard, California. Funeral services will be held at Raleigh Court Presbyterian Church Saturday, November 13, at 10 a.m. with Dr. F. Tupper Garden and Dr. James A. Allison Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Raleigh Court Presbyterian Church or a favorite charity in her memory. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
