OBIT WHITLOCK, MARGARET BOOTHE

WHITLOCK, Margaret Boothe, 89, of Roanoke, died Wednesday, November 10, 1993. She was the widow of John Leslie Whitlock and a member of Cave Spring Baptist Church. Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, Harold C. and Lyndall E. Whitlock, Roanoke, L. Kenneth and Frances P. Whitlock, Martinsville, M. Eugene and Helen M. Whitlock, Haughton, La.; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy W. and Harvey S. Creasy, Charleston, W.Va.; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Hazel W. Bowles, Beatrice W. Snodgrass, both of Vinton; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's South Chapel 11 a.m. Saturday, November 13, 1993 with the Rev. Rick Elmore and Dr. Woodrow Clark officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family suggest that memorials be made to Cave Spring Baptist Church. Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
