NAMES ON CAMPUS

Donors of the New River Community College endowed scholarships recently met the recipients of those scholarships at a brunch held on the campus. There are 42 endowed scholarships at the school.

Scholarship recipients are: GRETCHEN BERG, CYNTHIA COOK and TODD KING, A.H. Scholarship; BEVERLY SHAVER, Alumni Association Scholarship; DONALD ANDERSON, William Anderson Memorial Scholarship; RHONDA BOWMAN, AT&T Scholarship; ALEX WILLIS, Celco Federal Credit Union Scholarship; and MELANIE PENN and ANTHONY PARTON, Central Fidelity Bank Scholarships.

Other scholarship winners include: MARY DAY, Gary Clark Scholarship; SHIRLEY CARROLL, Fred Cole Memorial Scholarship; PATRICK HAND, Richard Allison and Martha Snow Dobyns Memorial Scholarship; JEANNA OSBORNE, The Bob and Cornelia Dobyns Scholarship; AMANDA EPPERLY, The L.T. \ BEN KRAMER has been selected as the new activities counselor. He holds a bachelor's of science degree in performing arts and psychology from Mary Washington College, and has just received his master's degree in counseling psychology from Radford University.

\ JIMMY WAYNE CALDWELL recently received a $500 scholarship from the Fel-Pro Automotive Technicians Scholarship Program of Skokie, Ill. The scholarship is designed to help students interested in becoming a professional automotive service technician further his or her education. Caldwell will use the scholarship at New River Community College.
