COMMUNITY COLLEGE ANNOUNCES GED TESTING SCHEDULE

New River Community College has announced a new testing schedule for those wishing to take the General Educational Development test series. They'll be given by the New River Valley Regional GED Testing Center on the following schedule:

Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., by appointment only.

Tuesday and Thursday, 4-8 p.m., 135 Rooker Hall

Dec 14 and Dec 16, 4-8 p.m., 135 Rooker Hall

Applicants must register for the GED test in person at Building T-3, in parking lot E, between 8 a.m and 5 p.m. weekdays.

GED applicants must be at least 18 years old and residents of Virginia. A $20 fee in cash or money order is required for all five tests, or $4 for each individual test. No checks can be accepted. A valid photographic identification must be presented.
