OBIT BARROWS, ALICE ASHTON FITZHUGH

BARROWS, Alice Ashton Fitzhugh, 82, of Roanoke, formerly of Norfolk, died Thursday, November 11, l993, in a local hospital. Mrs. Fitzhugh was born in King George Co., Va. She was a lifetime member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in King George Co., Va. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Robert Barrows. Surviving are two daughters, Alice B. Cobb, Roanoke and Roberta B. Nettelhorst, Va. Beach, Va.; one sister, Lucy F. Churchill, King George Co., Va.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, November 14, 1993 at 2 p.m. at the St. Paul Episcopal Church Cemetery, King George Co., Va. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Bayside Chapel. The family will be at the funeral home Saturday, November 13, from 2 to 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church Cemetery Fund, King George Co., Va. or the American Heart Association.
