`AUGUST SNOW' AT VA. TECH

Virginia Tech's Theatre-Arts-University Theatre will present a workshop production of "August Snow," Monday through Wednesday, 8 p.m., in 204 Performing Arts Building on the Virginia Tech campus.

The play, by North Carolina novelist and playwright Reynolds Price, explores the relationships among a man, his wife, his mother and his best friend. It's set in 1937 in eastern North Carolina.

First-year graduate directing candidate Andrew Belser will direct the workshop performance.
