FOLEY ANNIVERSARY
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph W. Foley celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary on
November 2, 1993. After being picked up by a limousine and given a ride to
their birthplace of Franklin County, they celebrated their anniversary at the
Roanoker Restaurant hosted by their great-granddaughter. Mrs. Foley, the
former Nellie Irene Dishon, is a housewife. Mr. Foley is a retired building
contractor. They had one daughter, Rachel Hawkins, four grandchildren, and six
great-grandchildren. The couple reside in Hollins.
