OBIT EMMERLING, FR. KENNETH C.

EMMERLING, Fr. Kenneth C., 54, Rector of St. James Episcopal Church, Roanoke, died at his home, Saturday, November 13, 1993. He is survived by his wife, Martha Ogilvie Emmerling; five children, Mrs. Cynthia R. Cathcart and husband, John, Silver Spring, Md., Beth Ann Emmerling, Boston, Mass., Julia R. Smith, Vienna, Va., William ("Bill") Richards, Frederick, Md., K. Bruce Emmerling, Gaithersburg, Md.; one brother, Keith Emmerling, McMurray, Pa.; three grandsons, David Smith, Brian and Alex Cathcart; mother-in-law, Mrs. Stuart S. Ogilvie. Funeral services will be conducted from St. James Episcopal Church 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 16, 1993, with burial in New Market, Md. on Wednesday, P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. James Episcopal Church, 4515 Delray St. N.W., Roanoke, Va. 24012. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
