OBIT STANLEY, FANNIE RICHARDS

STANLEY, Fannie Richards, 98, formerly of Vistamont Dr., Roanoke County, died Saturday, November 13, 1993. She was the widow of Charlie Stanley and was a member of the Patterson Memorial Grace Brethren Church. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Garvin (Red) and Anna W. Stanley of Roanoke; two devoted granddaughters, Ellen S. Scyphers and Frances S. Leslie, both of Roanoke; three great-grandchildren, Kimberly and Stan Smith and Annalee Leslie; also surviving are Barbara Cantline and a number of nieces and nephews. Services will be at the Oakey's North Chapel, 3 p.m. Monday, with Pastor Don Eshelman and Rev. Ron Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in the Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, a contribution in her memory be made to the Patterson Memorial Grace Brethren Church, 5512 Hollins Rd. N.W., Roanoke, Va. 24019. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
