OBIT FOGLESONG, MR. EVERETT PAUL

FOGLESONG, Mr. Everett Paul, 81, of Marion, died Saturday, November 13, 1993, in Smyth County Community Hospital. Mr. Foglesong was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Mount Carmel United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Thelma Conner Foglesong of Marion; one son, Paul David Foglesong, Ph.D. of Haddon Heights, N.J.; one daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Walter Sprinkle of Marion; one grandson, Brian W. Sprinkle of Marion; two sisters, Audrey Sprinkle of Marion and Betty Sue Thompson of Baltimore, Md. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 15, 11 a.m. at the Mount Carmel United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Tim Graham and the Rev. Harry Howe officiating. Entombment will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery. The body will be taken to the church one hour before the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mount Carmel United Methodist Church (Rt. 5, Box 25, Marion, Va., 24354) or the Marion Lifesaving Crew (P.O. Box 784, Marion, Va., 24354).
