OBIT PAULEY, HUBERT WESLEY

PAULEY, Hubert Wesley, 73, of Rt. 2, Bland, died Saturday morning, November 13, 1993, in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was a retired construction worker. He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Ella and Ronnie Higginbotham of Roanoke; one son and daughter-in-law, Gene and Bobbie Pauley of Chester; two special granddaughters, Beth Barlett of Richmond, Melissa Higginbotham of Roanoke; five sisters, Victoria Lambert of Wytheville, Frances Overstreet of Galveston, Ind., Sarah Roark of Elizabethen, Tenn, Ruth Jones and Anna Lou Branch of Martinsville; one brother, James Pauley of Elizabethen, Tenn.; a dear friend, Frances Thompson of Bland. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, November 15, 1993, at the Newberry Funeral Home, with Rev. Will Shoey officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Newberry Funeral Home from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday evening. Arrangements by Newberry Funeral Home.
