OBIT DILLON, WELLFORD E.

DILLON, Wellford E., 87, of Roanoke, died Sunday, November 14, 1993. He was a member and deacon in the First Christian Church and was retired president of Days Construction Company. Surviving are his wife, Lillian Williams Dillon, Roanoke; two sons, Dr. Ronald W. Dillon, Roanoke, Wayne E. Dillon, Craig County; brother, Herbert P. Dillon, Martinsville; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at Oakey's South Chapel, 11 a.m. Tuesday, by the Rev. Jim Rivers. Burial will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the National Parkinsons Foundation, Inc., 1501 Northwest 9th Ave., Bob Hope Rd., Miami, Fla. 33136-1494. Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel Monday, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m.
