OBIT HALE, DIANE KAY PERDUE

HALE, Diane Kay Perdue, 44, of 110 Forest Hill Drive, Pearisburg, died Saturday evening, November 13, 1993, in the Duke Medical Center in Durham, N.C. A lifelong resident of Giles County, she was born on June 14, 1949, and was the daughter of Mrs. Sallie Davis Perdue of Glen Lyn, Va. and the late James William Perdue. She war preceded in death by a son, Anthony Lee Hale and a brother, Kelly Perdue. She was a member of the Glen Lyn Church of Christ in Glen Lyn, Va. and was an employee of the Hoechst/Celanese Fibers Company plant in Narrows. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Paul Edward Hale Jr., Pearisburg; a son, Travis Lee Hale, Pearisburg; two daughters, Kristi Rene Hale and Ashley Nichole Hale, both of Pearisburg; two brothers, Bobby Ray Perdue, Tommy Wayne Perdue, both of Glen Lyn; three sisters, Dorothy Sue Bowles, Glen Lyn, Linda P. Rowan, Pittston, Pa., Alice P. Shires, Peterwtown, W. Va. Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Glen Lyn Church of Christ, with Minister Mike Lynn officiating. Burial will follow in Birchlawn Burial Park, Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at Riffe's Funeral Service in Narrows, Monday evening from 6:30 to 9 p.m.
