MOUNTAIN LAKE CRAFTS FESTIVAL

The annual Top of the Mountain Arts and Crafts Festival will be held Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day at Mountain Lake Resort. Demonstrating artists include "knobbit" carver Bob Evans, Indian and wildlife artist Jim Shipley, potter Rick Radman and weaver Avis Quinn. Other crafts for sale are tin items, baskets, stained glass, jewelry and hanging art. The blue grass band Gold Rush, and Awakening featuring Lynnie Butler will provide entertainment. Santa Claus will make a special appearance.

Proceeds are donated to St. Judes Hospital for Children. For more information, call 626-7121 extension 445.
