OBIT POTTER, ELDRED ANDREW

POTTER, Eldred Andrew, 83, of Buena Vista, died Monday, November 15, 1993, at the Shenandoah Valley Health Care Center, Buena Vista. Mr. Potter was born in Rockbridge County on March 6, 1910, a son of the late James Potter and Eva Drain Potter. He was retired from the Bethlehem Steel Company in Dundalk, Md. He is survived by his wife, Lula B. Potter of Buena Vista; stepson, Walter B. Wilmore of Wytheville; one grandchild, Kelly Wilmore of LaGrange, Ga. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, November 17, 1993, at the Harrison Funeral Chapel at 1 p.m. with Elder Alvin Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in the Collierstown Presbyterian Cemetery, Lexington. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Buena Vista First Aid Crew. The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 7 to 8 at the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
