PARK DIRECTOR SPEAKS THURSDAY

Rupert Cutler, environmentalist and director of Virginia's Explore Park in Roanoke County, will discuss "How to Prepare for a Career in an Environmental Profession" Thursday in recognition of National Geography Week. The lecture will be held at 2 p.m. at Heth Hall, lounge A at Radford University.

Cutler was assistant secretary for conservation, research and education under President Carter, and has supervised the U.S. Forest Service, the Soil and Conservation Service and the Agriculture Department's extension agencies in his environmental career.
