OBIT PEARSON, PAUL C.
PEARSON, Paul C., 72, of Roanoke, died Monday, November 15, 1993. He was a
lay preacher in the United Methodist Church for many years, and a member of
Southview United Methodist Church. Mr. Pearson was a retired agent with New
York Life. Surviving are his wife, Carolee K. Pearson; son, Dale Logan
Pearson, Salem; daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Johnny Scott, Callaway; three
grandchildren, Brian Scott and wife, Terry, Roanoke, Zachary Scott and wife,
Sonja, Salem, Charles Scott, Callaway; two great-grandchildren, Isis and
Justin; brother, Ronald Pearson, New Cumberland, Penn. In lieu of flowers, the
family requests that memorials be made to the Alzheimers Association of
Roanoke/Salem Chapter, P.O. Box 5014, Roanoke, Va., 24012 or the Juvenile
Diabetes Foundation, P.O. Box 76, Salem, Va., 24153. Funeral services will be
conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, at Oakey's North Chapel, with the Rev. George M.
Pearson Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at
Oakey's North Chapel.
