OBIT KING, DONALD B., USN (RET.)I

KING, Donald B., USN (Ret.), 76, of Williamsburg, formerly of Norfolk, died Monday, November 15, 1993, in a local hospital. He was born in Union, W.Va., was a Chief Radioman with the U.S. Navy and retired from Civil Service at Norfolk Naval Air Station after 20 years of service. He was a member of the Williamsburg Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nathalie G. King. He is survived by one daughter, Joyce Humphreys of Yorktown; one son, Skip King of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands; one sister, Mary Katherine Duncan of Union, W.Va. Services will be held Friday, November 19, 1993, at 7 p.m. at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, Virginia Beach, with the Rev. Larry Miles officiating. Burial will be Tuesday, November 23, 1993, 10 a.m. at Arlington National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. Following the funeral service Friday, the family will receive friends at the home of Marie and Joe Scalco, 5457 Stonehaven Drive, Virginia Beach.
