The show comes to the Salem Civic Center for a seven performances beginning Thursday.
An off-course flying saucer brings a little lost alien called Tee Hee to Sesame Street. Big Bird and his friends must teach him the alphabet and help repair his spaceship to get him home.
The audience helps, too, by calling out numbers with The Count and spelling words for Guy Smiley's "Name That Word" game show.
"Sesame Street Live," now in its 14th season, is produced and presented by Minneapolis-based VEE Corp. in cooperation with Children's Television Workshop.
Tickets are $6.50 for Thursday, and all other nights are $10 for adults and $8.50 for children. Children under 2 are free. Tickets are available at all TicketMaster locations, or call the Salem Civic Center at 375-3004.
Performances are: Thursday, 7:30 p.m.; Friday, 10:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.; and Sunday, 1 and 4:30 p.m.
