ART, CRAFT AUCTION TO AID SCHOOL

The sixth annual Blue Mountain School art and crafts auction will be held Dec. 4, 11 a.m.-3 p.m., at the New River Community Action building, U.S. 221, onthe left, one mile south of the stoplight.

Doors will open at 10 a.m., and lunch will be available.

A group of 150 high-quality pieces by artists and craftsmen from all over the United States will be available, including paintings, pottery, jewelry, stained glass, woodwork, weaving and clothing.

Proceeds will benefit Blue Mountain School, a kindergarten-through-grade-5 parent-cooperative alternative school.
