OBIT-WHITE, CLEO LAWHORN

WHITE, Cleo Lawhorn, 84, of Roanoke, died Monday, November 15, 1993 in a local hospital. She was the widow of Harry E. White. She attended Vinton Baptist Church and was a retired nurse from Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Virginia Licensed Practical Nurse's Association, Area 2. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Betty W. and Gene C. White, Vinton, a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald E. and Joan P. White, Roanoke; five grandchildren, Julie W. Dickerson of Maryland, Amy W. Wentzel, Charles E. White, both of Roanoke, Donna S. White, Richmond, Corbin L. White, Bent Mountain; four great-grandchildren; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Violet Lawhorn, Roberta Hale, Willie and Ray Brown, all of Roanoke; a brother and sister-in-law, Warren and Norma Lawhorn, Graham, N.C. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's Vinton Chapel at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 18, 1993, with the Rev. Dr. William L. Ross and Rev. William E. Hungate officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
