OBIT-WHITE, THEODORE ROOSEVELT
WHITE, Theodore Roosevelt, 70, of 1232 Allison Lane, Pulaski, died Tuesday
night in the Pulaski Community Hospital. He was born in Wythe County, Virginia
on January 1, 1923, and was the son of the late George W. and Lillie White. He
was a retired employee of the United States Postal Service and was a veteran
of World War II, having served in the United States Army. He is survived by
his wife, Thelma Arnold White, Pulaski; one daughter, Brenda W. Underwood,
Pulaski; one son, Ted White, Roanoke; two sisters, Edna Rogers, Pulaski,
Celeste Lawson, Salem; one brother, Arthur White, Pulaski; two grandchildren,
Vicki Underwood, Jill Underwood, both of Pulaski. Funeral services will be
held Friday at 11 a.m. from the Stevens Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Patrick
Coffey officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Pulaski. Visiting
will be Thursday evening at Stevens Funeral Home where the family will receive
friends from 7 until 9 p.m. The family wishes that contributions be made to
the L. Brinkley Eure, M.D. Scholarship Program, Pulaski Community Hospital, P.
