OBIT-CRUFF, WILLIAM FRANKLIN, ("BOB")

CRUFF, William Franklin, ("Bob"), 66, of Roanoke, died Wednesday, November 17, 1993. He was a structural iron worker for 32 years and was a member of New York Iron Worker's Local #361, where he served as business manager for 11 years. Mr. Cruff was a member of Paumanok Port Washington New York Lodge #855 A.F. & A.M. Surviving are his loving and devoted wife, Shirley E. Cruff; one daughter, Elizabeth L. Ikner; two grandsons, William M. Ikner, and Timothy A. Ikner, all of Roanoke; a sister and brother-in-law, Virginia E. and Francis W. Burkart, Manassas; one nephew, Francis W. ("Skip") Burkart, Roanoke; three nieces, Virginia McDonald, Susan Burkart, both of Springfield, Vivian Cambron, Kentucky. Services will be at Oakey's South Chapel, 11 a.m. Friday. The Rev. James Drinard Smith will officiate. Interment will follow in Evergreen Burial Park. Masonic Rites by Cave Spring Lodge #230 A.F. & A.M. The family will receive friends at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
