OBIT COCKERHAM, JUANITA M.

COCKERHAM, Juanita M., 81, of Roanoke, died at her home Wednesday, November 17, 1993. Born in Galax, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Stella Cockerham and was preceded in death by two brothers, L. D. and Foy Cockerham. Mrs. Cockerham was a member of Oakland Baptist Church. Surviving are her sister, Mrs. Faye C. Ray of Roanoke; ten nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's Roanoke Chapel at noon Saturday, November 20, 1993, with the Rev. Kelly H. Dampeer officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
