OBIT WHITE, MARGARET PRIDDY

WHITE, Margaret Priddy, 85, of Marion, died Wednesday, November 17, 1993 in Smyth County Community Hospital. Miss White graduated from Marion College and Radford State Teachers College. She worked in Smyth County School System 47 years and she was a teacher and principal at Marion Primary School. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association and a member of the First United Methodist Church. She is survived by four sisters, Eleanor W. Tilley of Richmond, Helen W. Fletcher of Largo, Fla., Carrie Lea W. Thompson of Fort Myers, Fla. and Dr. Carolyn W. Rogers of Marion; two nieces, Jackie W. Bensinger of San Diego, Calif., Susan N. White of Marion. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 20, 1993 at 11 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Dr. J.N. Howard and Rev. Neville Mozingo officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the College Fund of the First United Methodist Church, 115 South Church Street, Marion, Va. 24354. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7 until 9 at Seaver Brown Chapel.
