OBIT COLEMAN, JOSEPH T.
COLEMAN, Joseph T., 70, of Roanoke, died Friday, November 19, 1993. He was
a Navy veteran of World War II, and retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Mr.
Coleman was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel E. Coleman. Surviving are two
sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph T. Jr. and Katherine F. Coleman, Charles E.
and Catrina F. Coleman, all of Roanoke; five grandchildren, Kerry L. Coleman,
Brian M. Coleman and Patrick J. Coleman, Christina M. Coleman, Kim Lee Adkins.
Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Monday at the Evergreen Burial Park, with
the Rev. Frank Feather officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests
that memorials be made to the Roanoke Life Saving Crew. The family will
receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
