OBIT WAGNER, RUSSELL E.

WAGNER, Russell E., 89, of Roanoke, passed away Friday, November 19, 1993. He was a member of Mount Herman Baptist Church, Bedford County, and former member of North Roanoke Baptist Church. He was a retired employee of Auto Spring & Bearing Company and also retired from Oakey's North Chapel. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eva McClearn Wagner; one son, Dan Wagner and wife, Betty, Goode, Va.; one daughter, Mrs. Opal Branch and husband, Bill, O'Fallon, Mo.; one sister, Mrs. Lora Puckett, Botetourt County; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel at 11:30 a.m. Monday, November 22, with Dr. Darryl Crim and the Rev. Kenneth B. Bryan officiating. Burial will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Building Fund, North Roanoke Baptist Church. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
