OBIT HUDDLESTON, J. JORDEN
HUDDLESTON, J. Jorden, 73, of Route 2, Moneta, died Friday, November 19,
1993, in a Roanoke hospital. He was born in Bedford County, February 22, 1920,
a son of the late John Gilbert Huddleston and Hessie Wright Huddleston. He was
a retired employee of Rubatex Corp. He is survived by his wife, Beatrice
Franklin Huddleston; a son and daughter-in-law, John W. and Sue W. Huddleston
of Moneta; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda (Liz) H. and DeWynn C. Adams of
Blue Ridge; two grandchildren, Ryan Jorden Adams and Allison Jorden
Huddleston. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, at Carder-Tharp
Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Michael Winters officiating. Burial will follow
in the Huddleston Family Cemetery. Memorials may be made to either the
American Cancer Society or the Moneta Rescue Squad. The family will receive
friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Carder-Tharp Funeral Home, and other
times at the home of Johnny and Sue Huddleston.
