OBIT PAYNE, CATHERINE PANKEY ARVONIA

PAYNE, Catherine Pankey, 85, of Arvonia, died Friday, November 19, 1993. She is survived by four sisters, Louise F. Pankey and Annie M. Pankey, Richmond, Elizabeth P. Bland, Arvonia and Evelyn P. McCorkle, Lexington; one brother, Thomas Maury Pankey, Roanoke. Remains rest at the Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, where services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. with interment in Arvonia Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Arvonia United Methodist Church or the Buckingham County Rescue Squad.
