CARR-KNAPP

Tammy Jo Knapp and James Bradley Carr were married October 20, 1993 in a barefoot wedding on the beach in North Palmetto Point on the Island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas by Rev. Joshua E. Culmer. The bride wore a burgundy lace ballerina length gown and carried Bahamian flowers consisting mostly of pink bougainvillea. The bride is a daughter of Steve and Sandra Okerman of Roanoke. She is a graduate of Patrick Henry High School and Virginia Western Community College and is employed by USAir as a flight attendant. The bridegroom, son of Joy H. Carr of Roanoke, is a graduate of Patrick Henry High School and Ferrum College. He is a musician with the band, Red Weather. The newlyweds will live in Roanoke.
