2 TECH WRESTLERS WIN NAVY TITLES

Virginia Tech's Josh Feldman and Dante Winslow won titles during the weekend at the Navy Wrestling Classic in Annapolis, Md.

Feldman (heavyweight) and Winslow (158 pounds) each went 4-0 during the tournament, improving their respective records to 8-0.

In other college tournaments:

In Durham, N.C., top-seeded Duke defeated Florida State 15-6, 15-6, 15-5 to win the ACC women's volleyball championship. The Blue Devils (28-2), who have won 23 consecutive matches, earned their third consecutive ACC title and an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

In Piscataway, N.J., Maryland (22-3-0) beat North Carolina 2-1 on penalty strokes to win the NCAA Division I field hockey national championship. When neither team was able to score in two 15-minute sudden death overtime periods, the game went to penalty strokes. North Carolina finished 16-3-3.

In Williamsburg, Jennifer Dinaberg led all hitters with 19 kills as George Mason defeated William and Mary 5-15, 15-9, 15-13, 15-13 to win the Colonial Athletic Association volleyball championship. George Mason (28-4) advances to the NCAA Tournament as the conference's first automatic qualifier. William and Mary finished 9-19.
