OBIT WILLIAMS, HAMPTON HOGE
WILLIAMS, Hampton Hoge, 86, of Rich Creek, Va., died Sunday, November 21,
1993, at the home of his daughter in Peterstown. Born August 12, 1907, at
Pearisburg, Va. he was the son of the late Issac Ed and Mary Lou Williams. Mr.
Williams was a retired employee of the Hoechst-Celanese, Narrows, Va. and was
preceded in death by his wife, Zella Blankenship Williams in 1992. Survivors
include, one daughter, Mrs. Ned (Lois) Harvey with whom he had lived for the
past year and a half at Peterstown, W.Va.; one son, Gerald Williams of
Coraopolis, Pa.; one brother, Ed Williams of Hoges Store, Va.; one sister,
Helen Croye of Belle, W.Va.; eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 24, 1993, at the Broyles
Funeral Home Chapel in Peterstown, with Rev. Thomas Rice officiating. Burial
will follow at the Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg, Va. Friends may call
from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, November 23, 1993, at the Broyles Funeral Home in
Peterstown.
