TRAINING COMPANY OPENS ROANOKE OFFICE

An Atlanta computer training company said it plans to open offices in Roanoke. Executrain Corp., which offers customized and standard instruction on software use, has leased space at 3800 Electric Road and will be open by Dec. 1, said Caron Corbit, marketing coordinator.

Corbit, who is based at the company's Richmond office, said the Roanoke operation will be administered from Richmond. She said the company decided to put an office in Roanoke because it already had customers in the area. She said Executrain has done training at General Electric Co. and will be doing work for Crestar Bank.

Executrain, which is privately owned, is an authorized trainer for Lotus Development Corp., Microsoft Corp., WoodPerfect Corp., Borland International, Microrim, Xerox and Enable Software.
