OBIT HAWTHORNE, JUNE E.
HAWTHORNE, June E., 68, of Richmond, passed away Sunday, November 21, 1993.
She was the widow of William L. Hawthorne and is survived by one sister,
Katherine E. Michaelson; two sons, Paul L. Hawthorne and Jesse V. Hawthorne;
four grandchildren; her mother-in-law, Beulah R. Hawthorne of Roanoke. Mrs.
Hawthorne served as Supervisor of the Public Health Clinic for the City of
Richmond from 1967 until her death. Remains rest at Bennett Funeral Home, 3215
Cutshaw Ave., Richmond, Va., where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9
p.m. Monday and Tuesday. Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Wednesday,
November 24, 1993 at the Bennett Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at 3
p.m. in Chapel Garden Abbey, Sherwood Memorial Park, Salem. In lieu of
flowers, contributions may be made in Mrs. Hawthorne's name to the American
Cancer Society.
