OBIT HUGHSON, FRANCES PORTERFIELD

HUGHSON, Frances Porterfield, of Roanoke, died Monday, November 22, 1993. She was the widow of Bernard C. Hughson Sr. and is survived by her sons, Bernard C. Hughson Jr., Roanoke, George Arthur Hughson, Alexandria; her daughter, Frances Caroline Hughson, Roanoke; two sisters, Alda Kidd, Roanoke, Margaret Snyder, Fincastle. A private graveside service will be held in Evergreen Burial Park on Friday, November 26, at 1 p.m., with Mr. Jerry S. Collins officiating. There will be no visitation. Oakey's Roanoke Chapel is handling funeral arrangements.
