OBIT CAMPBELL, HOLLIS W.

CAMPBELL, Hollis W., ("G-Dad"), 74, of Hot Springs, formerly of Covington, died Saturday, November, 20, 1993. He was born April 19, 1919, in Bath County. He was the son of Lewis R. Campbell and Florence Pritt Campbell. He was retired from the maintenance department, Pantasote of Covington; a veteran of World War II where he served in the Army and received the Purple Heart. He is survived by one daughter, Theresa Taylor of Covington; one grandson, Benjamin Taylor of Covington; one sister, Myrtle Waddell of North Carolina. He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 23, 1993, 2 p.m. at McLaughlin Funeral Home, Hot Springs by the Rev. Bill Gilliland. Interment will be in the Campbell Family Cemetery.
