MUSICAL IS NEXT FOR MILL MOUNTAIN THEATRE

``The 1940's Radio Hour'' will open at Mill Mountain Theatre's Main Stage on Dec. 3 and continue through Dec. 31. A signed performance will be offered Dec.18 at 2 p.m. for the hearing impaired.

The holiday swingtime musical is set at a live broadcast of ``The Mutual Manhattan Variety Cavalcade'' at the Hotel Astor in New York City. The date is Dec. 21, 1942, when the world was at war and pop music meant ``Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy'' and ``The Chatanooga Choo-Choo.''

Tickets for the musical are $15-$20, with a $2-$4 discount on some nights for students and senior citizens. Call the box office at 342-5740 to reserve seats.
