OBIT DAVIS, LOVELL MUNCY
DAVIS, Lovell Muncy, 89, of Blacksburg, died Wednesday, November 24, 1993,
in Montgomery Regional Hospital. A retired employee of Radford Army Ammunition
Plant, he was preceded in death by one son, daughter-in-law and grandson,
Bryce T., Mary Jane and Jerry Allen Davis, all of Salem. Surviving are his
wife, Fannie Thornhill Davis; two sons and daughters-in-law, the Rev. Jimmy &
Marie Davis, Christiansburg, Nelson & Ruby Davis, Lynchburg; two daughters,
Patty Davis, Ora Lane Davis, both of Blacksburg; one sister, Bertha Scott,
Charlottesville; 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services
will be 11 a.m. Saturday, November 27, at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home
Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Dewey Weaver and the Rev. Claude Dove, with
burial in Westview Cemetery. Friends may call anytime Friday at the
Richardson-Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg, where the family will receive
friends from 7 to 9 Friday evening.
