AMERICAN RED CROSS IS OFFERING CLASS IN BABYSITTING

An American Red Cross-certified babysitting class will be held Dec. 4., 10 a.m.-4 p.m., at the Radford Parks and Recreation Department building, 29 1st St.

The class is open to anyone age 11 or older. Participants will get hands-on training in diaper changing, child care, medical emergencies, CPR and other important aspects of babysitting.

Those who successfully complete the one-day training session will receive a Red Cross certificate, pin and activity packet.

The fee is $12, and registration ends Thursday. Attendees should pack a lunch.
