OBIT SPENCER, NANNIE ESTELLE
SPENCER, Nannie Estelle, 75, of Roanoke, died Friday, November 26, 1993, in
a local hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil G. Spencer
Sr. and a son, Cecil G. Spencer Jr. Mrs. Spencer was a member of Melrose
Baptist Church. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Richard B. and Joyce
Spencer, Atlanta, Ga.; grandchildren, Michael T. Spencer, Raleigh, N.C.,
Deborah Spencer Fergeson, Martinsville; a daughter-in-law, Phyllis Dollyhigh;
brother, Buford Ferguson; aunt, Etta Cassell, all of Roanoke; also several
nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North
Chapel 10 a.m. Monday, November 29, 1993, with the Rev. Larry E. Sprouse
officiating. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will
receive friends at Oakey's North Chapel Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 8
p.m.
