OBIT WILLIAMS, JEAN BARCLAY

WILLIAMS, Jean Barclay, 86, of Roanoke, died Thursday, November 25, 1993. She was a member of Raleigh Court United Methodist Church, the South Roanoke Garden Club, and the Pilot Club. She was a graduate of National Business College. Surviving are her husband, Forrest S. Williams and one sister, Flora M. Barclay, Salem. Funeral services will be conducted at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel, 10:30 a.m. Monday, by Dr. Gregory L. Adkins and Dr. John W. Newman. Burial will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Roanoke City Rescue Mission, P.O. Box 525, (4th and Elm Avenue, SE) Roanoke, Va., 24003, or to Raleigh Court United Methodist Church, 1706 Grandin Rd., SW, Roanoke, Va., 24015. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel from 12 to 6 p.m. Sunday.
