OBIT LAWRENCE, CHARLES WESLEY
LAWRENCE, Charles Wesley, 68, of Salem, died Wednesday, November 24, 1993.
He was the son of the late Frank Mosby and Thelma D. Lawrence. He retired as
treasurer, manager, for the General Electric Credit Union. He was a member of
the Fort Lewis Christian Church, a veteran and POW of World War II. He is
survived by his wife, Judy H. Lawrence; two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles
W. Jr. and Susan Lawrence, Daleville, Steve and Lori Lawrence of Sarasota,
Fla.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Marcie and Steve Davidson, Salem, Kathy
and Sonny Eversole, Salem; one brother and sister-in-law, Frank Dillon and
Evelyn Lawrence of Tappahannock, Va.; seven grandchildren, Scott Eversole,
Craig Eversole, Allan Davidson, Tim Davidson, Charles Wesley Lawrence III,
Jessica Lawrence, Levi Lawrence. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m.
Saturday, November 27, 1993 at the the Fort Lewis Christian Church, with Rev.
William F. Murdock officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery,
Christiansburg. The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the
John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem.
