OBIT SHARP, IRVING

SHARP, Irving, 78, of Roanoke, passed away Thursday, November 25, 1993. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mary Lee Waid Sharp; son, Irving Scott Sharp, Charlotte, N.C.; six daughters, Wendy Sharp Scaggs, Fincastle, Judy Sharp Hill, Covington, Martha Sharp Harth, Salem, Peggy Sharp Mills, Roanoke, Virginia (Bunny) Sharp Givens, New Castle, Billie Sharp Frost, Toana; a sister, Elizabeth Sharp Mahan; five year old special grandson, Christopher Irving Sharp; also surviving are eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 12 noon Saturday at Shenandoah Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert L. Alderman officiating. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Shenandoah Baptist Church. Arrangements by Lotz Funeral Home, Salem.
